After a long summer spent with the horrible Dursleys, Harry Potter's attempt to board the train and head to his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is thwarted. The only way to get there is by a magical flying car, which unfortunately crashes into the rare (and very grumpy) Whomping Willow. But all this seems like a walk in the park compared to what awaits Harry that autumn in the haunted corridors of Hogwarts. He is the only one who hears the terrifying and malicious voices echoing from the walls, and it is crystal clear that his classmate Draco Malfoy is out to get him. Soon, however, Harry is not the only one fearing for his life. Strange things begin to happen at Hogwarts, making the blood run cold, and none of the students suspect that an ancient legend has become reality. A red inscription appears on the wall, proclaiming that the Chamber of Secrets has been reopened and that the enemies of the heir should be afraid. But what does all this really mean? Harry, Hermione, and Ron do everything in their magical power, even risking their own lives, in an attempt to solve this deadly mystery that is nearly fifty years old.
