This tribe lives in the mountains in the middle of the island. The highest peak is called the Mountain of the Cannibal God. On its summit is a shrine to shamans who perform sacred man-eating ceremonies. But no one wants to accompany Susan, so she has to make the journey to the mountain with only a few friends. Susan, the wife of a famous traveller, arrives in New Guinea. She is looking for her husband, who has been missing for several months. The natives tell her about the strange Indians who worship their god with human sacrifices.
