Francisco Scaramanga has bullets made of gold for his victims. It's the same metal used in his murders. In his mansion, he has a bizarre labyrinth controlled by a dwarf. No agent has ever left it alive. Now he's expecting James Bond. But Scaramanga is not content with a golden pistol; he wants a far more effective weapon - the Solex, a solar-powered cannon. Bond begins his search in Beirut, but further clues lead him to Macau. He is supposed to be assisted by Agent Mary Goodnight, but after a mad chase she falls into the hands of a sadistic killer.
