Captain Toulouse, head of the French secret services is embedded in a case of double agent. He soon realizes it is a plot from of his fellow-agent, Milan who intends to take his position. As an answer to this plot, Toulouse makes Milan believe a formidable secret agent has been appointed to investigate the case. This fake agent is randomly selected by Perrache, Toulouse's right-hand man, in the airport of Orly. François Perrin is selected for one simple reason, he wears shoes of different colors, one brown and one black. Milan is convinced Perrin is a real agent and in order to get information from him, he will put him in contact his feminine agent, Christine...
