Richard and Kate somehow got over the fact that their marriage had broken up. And like true Brits, they handled the break-up quite gracefully. But when they discover that their pension fund has fallen victim to an unscrupulous, and French, tunneler, they decide that this is too much. They find out that the man who robbed them of all their savings has just bought his fiancée a $10 million diamond, and the decision is made. They set out to find him with a clear goal - to steal the jewel and get their revenge. This expedition, which takes them from London to Paris and the French Riviera, has another effect - it turns out that despite all the teasing, disapproval, tiptoeing and teasing, their relationship is not completely extinguished.
