Třetí poslední z filmu o trojici přátel ze sedmé roty. Výrazem „za úplňku“ bylo v okupované Francii myšleno pracovat v odboji. Tassin, Pitivier a velitel Chaudard jsou tentokrát v civilu a do akcí proti okupantům se nijak nehrnou. Válečné roky by rádi doklepali v poklidu, kdy vrcholem nebezpečí je klást oka na zajíce. Shodou náhod a proti své vůli se ale stanou hrdiny odboje.
