Only 17 years old, Eddie Adams is discovered by Jack Horner, who makes rather titillating films. He instantly sees Eddie as a new talent, and not just because of his extraordinary utensils. Eddie suddenly finds himself in a world of luxury and unbound - movie sex, becomes a star and gives himself the stage name Dirk Diggler. But nothing lasts forever, and beneath the glitzy veneer lurks emotional problems and, most importantly, drugs that nearly cost Dirk his life.
