Harry and Sally meet for the first time on their journey together from graduation from the University of Chicago to New York. Harry is a hard-to-understand non-junkie for Sally, who isn't afraid to hit on him even though he's currently dating her friend. They meet again five years later, by chance, on a plane together. And then again five years later, in the library. Gradually, they find their way to each other, only to discover, after twelve long years, that they can't be without each other...
