Movie or TV Series Plot
In 1961, the famous war film The Guns of Navarone was made, telling the story of the courageous action of a small unit that destroyed the dangerous guns on the island of Navarone. Seventeen years later, the film's producers returned to the film and made a loose sequel. This time it is set in Yugoslavia, where Major Mallory and Sergeant Miller (the only survivors of the first mission) are sent to find and eliminate a dangerous Nazi agent, Nikolai Leskovar, operating in the partisan forces. En route to Yugoslavia, they are assigned to Colonel Barnsby's unit, which is tasked with blowing up a strategically important bridge. Although the unit is almost wiped out by the Nazis, the last five men manage not only to escape from German captivity, but also to accomplish both tasks in a suicidal action.
