Professional bounty hunter and gunslinger, Dr. King Schultz, needs a help of a black slave Django. Django is the only one, who can identify Schultz's three targets, the Brittle brothers, so Dr. Schultz intends to buy him a freedom. As a freeman, Django is trained in bounty hunter skills, so he can be put in a position of a deputy of Dr. Schultz. But Django has a different priority, then his own freedom. In a return of giving Schultz the Brittle brothers, he wants the only thing he ever cared about. To find and rescue his wife, Broomhilda. She is the property of a Calvin Candie, a ruthless plantation owner, but also a significant businessman. The negotiations go well to the point, when Candie's senior house slave finds out their real intend. The following events serve just to break Django's chains and release all his anger to make Broomhilda free. On his way to justice in a world just before Civil War, there's nothing that can stop him. And when he watches Candie's mansion explode, side by side with freed Broomhilda, he knows his ultimate work is done.
